These instructions are for those who prefer to use Garmin's free POI Loader software.
Garmin’s POI Loader converts our files to a proprietary Garmin format (GPI), which is compatible with your Garmin device.
Step by Step Garmin Downloading Instructions
Read the basic instructions below carefully and print them for ease of use. A Garmin Download Tutorial is also available for easy guidance.
| 1. | Download and Unzip your files. |
| 2. | Turn on your Garmin device and attach it to your computer. |
| 3. | Use the Garmin POI Loader to find the files on your computer and upload the data and icons to your compatible Garmin device. |
| 4. | View/search for your new POIs. |
